This trail joins the upper Mt. Ellinor trail 1.7 miles from the trailhead.  Unless you want to add 3.4 wooded miles to your hike, start at the upper Mt. Ellinor trail.

Driving Directions:

From US Highway 101 in Hoodsport, Wa. take WA-119 9.2 miles north to a stop sign at a T intersection. At the T intersection, turn right onto NF-24 and drive 1.7 miles to the intersection of NF-2419. Turn left and drive 4.7 miles on narrow NF-2419 to the lower Mt. Ellinor trailhead.
