Experience

Close To Seattle

Do you want to get out on the trail but don't have much time?  Here is a nice little trail that you can get to with very little drive time.  Since it is so close, expect to see lots of people.  The trail is normally busy and the trailhead parking will be full at times.   The beach and picnic area at the destination will accommodate lots of people so the trip will definitely be worthwhile.

Don't forget your bathing suit in the summer.  Meadowdale County Beach is a cool place to enjoy the Puget Sound with friends.

Map shows the 1.25 mile trail.

Viewing the photos clockwise from the upper left, the first is a photo of the trail midway down to the beach.  The second photo is of the Meadowdale County Park picnic area (including restrooms and shelter).  The final photo is a shot of the beach.
